A Good Book !

"For Love of a Horse " by Patricia Leitch,
is a book about a girl named Jenny. Her family moved
to Scotland. She has one mean teacher at her new school, but she does
not think about her school work; she thinks about a copper horse [that her kind neighbor owns] named Shanty. "For Love of a Horse" is
a good book for anyone who likes horses.

Hide and Seek

Over the summer my Mom let one of our cats, Cinco, outside. We also let our dog, Daisy out, and together they'd play a game where Cinco would walk around in the bushes or the yard and Daisy would sniff around till she came right up to her and then look at her as if to say "Not you again!"

My Mummified Bear

This Fathers Day in school my class sketched tigers. Mine as you can see, turned out looking like a mummified bear.
Now my Mom did not know what to get my Dad, but when I brought home my 'Tiger', she new just what to get him. So we went to this website where you can personalize your own shirts, and made a shirt out of my bear and my little sisters circle picture to.
When we gave him the shirts, he immediately put mine on. He loved them!

Junk to Art

(Bess), After the wizard fest , my Mom took us ,(me and Mia) to Dr.Evermore Junk yard . Dr.Evermore made sculptures
out of things such as old instruments,cars, gears, and scrap metal .

In the newspaper was an ad for a HARRY POTTER FEST . I thought it sounded like fun,so I called Mia, and we went
the next day. Me and my mom made a cloak so I looked like a wizard , whoops, I mean witch.
We had a lot of FUN!!! There were activities all around the square, like wizard chess , spells and more!
Me and Mia played chess (the pons were a foot tall) against my Dad we won ! (Mia made the moves , I watched).

New Movie ! "Kit Kitteridge, An American Girl"

My dad (mia's dad) was surprised the doll I just so
hapened to have, got a movie in the theater. It is fun
for the entire family.

Dolls For Sale!

This is my (Bess's) hand knitted dolls, I knitted in school. Actually, the one on the left was the one I made at school. Her name is Nimphadorra Tonks. I liked the name. The other one is for a friend of my mom's baby. He doesn't have a doll so I made him one! I am now working on another for another one of my mom's friend's baby's. Then I had an idea to start a business hand knitting and crocheting dolls. Mia is helping too.
